The Short Answer

Legend Oaks is an established southwest Austin neighborhood in ZIP 78749, just southeast of Escarpment Blvd and Convict Hill Road, with mature trees, brick and stone homes and Austin ISD schools. I am Clay Byrne of Byrne Real Estate Group, and buyers I work with like it for the location near Oak Hill, MoPac and US 290. Homes are mostly from the late 1980s to early 2000s, so plan for updates.

I’m Clay Byrne, founder of Byrne Real Estate Group. Legend Oaks is one of those southwest Austin neighborhoods where buyers get a real yard and big trees at a price below Circle C. Here’s what you should know.

Here’s how I read it. 78749 was one of the faster ZIPs in southwest Austin in October, with a 17-day median and 3.48 months of supply, so well-priced homes sell quickly. Because the ZIP mixes very different homes, I pull the last few sales on your street for every client.
